This page is a placeholder for evidences in regards to the name of The Most High YAHUAH and our Messiah, YAHUSHA Ha’Mashiack. We have already placed some evidences in the resources section in the way of some Dead Sea Scroll fragments (4Q Josh), that will be sorted to this page in the near future, but feel free to check them out at your own liberty! 🙂

The truth is, at a bare minimum, is that the Messiah had the same name as Joshua, the Son of Nun. Joshua is a translation of the the Hebrew name Yahusha (originally known as Husha/Hosea, until YAHUAH changed his name to Yahusha). The translators say that they changed the Messiah’s name to Jesus to differentiate between these 2 men. As to why we DO NOT call the Messiah Joshua (an English translation) instead of Jesus is beyond me…

I leave this information here as a reflection and urge you to do your own research in the meantime in regards to this topic, as scholars will not disagree on this particular fact.
