Welcome to our community platform. By registering for, accessing, or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not register for or use this platform.
1. Purpose of the Community
This platform exists to provide a respectful, honourable, and confidential online space for members of our community and ministry. All members are expected to participate in a manner that protects the safety, trust, privacy, and integrity of the community.
2. Account Registration
By registering for an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account access with others or allow unauthorised persons to use your account.
We reserve the right to refuse registration, suspend access, or terminate accounts at our discretion where necessary to protect the community, its members, its administrators, or the ministry.
3. Respectful Conduct
You agree to interact with other members respectfully and honourably at all times.
You must not harass, threaten, abuse, intimidate, bully, defame, manipulate, exploit, or otherwise mistreat other members.
You also agree not to spam, impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, misuse private messages, or engage in deceptive, disruptive, unlawful, or harmful behaviour.
4. Prohibited Content
You must not post, upload, share, or distribute content that is:
- abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing;
- deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent;
- unlawful or encouraging unlawful activity;
- harmful to the community or its members;
- sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate;
- defamatory, invasive of privacy, or infringing on the rights of others;
- spam, advertising, or promotional material without permission;
- designed to disrupt, damage, monitor, scrape, or exploit the platform.
Administrators and appointed moderators may remove content that breaches these Terms or is considered harmful to the community.
5. Confidentiality
You agree to keep information shared within this platform confidential.
Content, discussions, private messages, member details, ministry-related information, resources, files, documents, links, and any other non-public information must not be copied, shared, published, screenshotted, forwarded, archived, reported, disclosed, or distributed outside the platform without permission.
This obligation continues even after your account is closed or your access to the platform ends.
6. Resources, Books, PDFs, and Other Materials
The platform may host, reference, share, discuss, or provide access to resources, including but not limited to books, documents, PDFs, articles, links, study materials, ministry materials, and other files.
Access to such resources is provided for the purposes of the community and ministry. Members must not misuse these resources, redistribute confidential materials outside the platform, or use platform content in a way that harms the community, its members, its administrators, moderators, contributors, or associated ministry.
7. Access for Enforcement, Monitoring, or Complaint Purposes
This community is a private membership platform.
You must not register for, access, monitor, scrape, copy, archive, investigate, or use this platform for the purpose of identifying, reporting, enforcing, assisting with, or preparing copyright infringement claims, takedown requests, DMCA notices, rights-holder complaints, legal threats, regulatory complaints, surveillance reports, media reports, or similar actions against the platform, its administrators, moderators, members, contributors, or associated ministry.
By registering for or accessing this platform, you confirm that you are not joining on behalf of any copyright owner, rights-management agency, publisher, enforcement organisation, law firm, government agency, investigator, intelligence service, media organisation, or third party seeking to gather information for complaint, enforcement, monitoring, surveillance, or legal action.
Any access obtained for such purposes is unauthorised and constitutes a breach of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, block access, remove privileges, preserve evidence of misuse, and disregard information, complaints, notices, or demands obtained through breach of these Terms.
8. Copyright Notices, Takedown Requests, and External Complaints
The platform may host or reference resources, including books, documents, PDFs, links, or other materials, in accordance with the platform’s purpose and applicable law.
The platform does not submit to the jurisdiction of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act, or any similar foreign notice-and-takedown regime, merely by receiving, hosting, referencing, reviewing, or responding to communications that purport to be DMCA notices, copyright complaints, takedown requests, rights-holder notices, or similar demands.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to review, reject, ignore, respond to, or decline to process any copyright complaint, takedown notice, infringement allegation, DMCA-style notice, rights-holder request, or similar demand, particularly where the notice is invalid, abusive, automated, made in bad faith, outside applicable jurisdiction, unsupported by lawful authority, or based on information obtained through unauthorised access or breach of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms requires us to remove content, disclose member information, respond to non-binding notices, preserve records, identify members, or comply with private demands unless we determine that we are legally required to do so.
We may comply with valid, binding legal orders issued by a court or authority with proper jurisdiction.
Submission of a complaint, notice, allegation, or demand does not create any obligation for us to act, respond, preserve records, identify members, disclose information, alter platform content, or remove materials unless required by applicable law.
9. Restricted Access
This community is not open to representatives, agents, employees, contractors, informants, affiliates, or proxies of:
- the CIA;
- the FBI;
- the NSA;
- any government intelligence, surveillance, military, law-enforcement, or investigative agency;
- any Five Eyes, Seven Eyes, Nine Eyes, Fourteen Eyes, or comparable intelligence-sharing organisation;
- any organisation acting for or assisting such entities.
By registering, accessing, or using the platform, you confirm that you are not acting on behalf of, affiliated with, reporting to, assisting, or gathering information for any such organisation.
Access by any such person or entity is unauthorised and constitutes a breach of these Terms.
10. Moderation and Administration
Administrators and appointed moderators may review reports, investigate concerns, remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other action where necessary to protect members, uphold these Terms, and preserve the integrity of the community.
Moderation decisions may be made at the discretion of the administrators or appointed moderators.
We are not required to provide advance notice, detailed reasons, appeal rights, or continued access where we determine that action is necessary for safety, privacy, confidentiality, community integrity, or ministry purposes.
11. Private Messages
Private messaging features must be used respectfully and appropriately.
You must not use private messages to harass, pressure, deceive, spam, threaten, manipulate, exploit, monitor, investigate, or harm other members.
Private messages must also not be used to gather evidence, solicit information, prepare complaints, conduct surveillance, or encourage members to breach these Terms.
Administrators may review reports relating to misuse of private messages and may take action where necessary.
12. No Scraping, Monitoring, or Data Collection
You must not scrape, crawl, index, archive, monitor, record, extract, copy, download in bulk, or otherwise collect platform content, member information, private messages, resource lists, files, links, discussions, or metadata without written permission.
You must not use automated tools, bots, scripts, browser extensions, artificial intelligence tools, data-mining systems, or similar technologies to monitor, extract, analyse, or reproduce platform content.
Any such activity is unauthorised and may result in immediate termination of access.
13. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, compromise the safety or confidentiality of the community, misuse the platform, or act in a way that is harmful to members, administrators, moderators, contributors, or the ministry.
You may also request the closure of your account by contacting the platform administrators.
Closure, suspension, or termination of your account does not remove your ongoing confidentiality obligations.
14. No Guarantee of Availability
We aim to keep the platform available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The platform may be modified, restricted, suspended, or discontinued at any time for maintenance, security, administrative, legal, ministry-related, or community-protection reasons.
15. No Public Right of Access
This platform is private. Registration, access, or prior membership does not create any public right of access, continuing right of access, ownership interest, entitlement to content, or right to demand services, materials, records, explanations, or communications.
We reserve the right to deny, revoke, or limit access at any time.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
When changes are made, the version number and effective date may be updated. Continued use of the platform after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform.
17. Review Before Public Launch
This document is sample text and should be reviewed, amended, and approved by appropriate ministry leadership and qualified legal advisers before public launch.
